This is Opeths ninth studio album and one of the better ones in the last half a decade. For the record after "Deliverance" i lost most interest in Opeth. It was a good album. Better then "Blackwater Park" even. But then "Damnation" came out not long after. And I just wasn't liking the mellower style as much. "Watershed" brings back the heavier aspects of Opeth. With a new drummer (Martin Axenrot) and guitarist (Fredrik Åkesson). Opeth are back on track again. 7 epic tracks clocking in between 7 and 11 and half minutes each (besides the opening track Coil which is around 3 minutes). If you are like me and lost interest in Opeth due to their softer music you should check the album out. It's a nice return to older Opeth.
